Power Root Berhad ("Power Root" or "the Company") wishes to announce that on 6 August 2019, the Company had incorporated a 75.1% owned subsidiary, Super Wrap ME Sdn Bhd ("SWME") ("Incorporation").

SWME is a private limited company under the Companies Act 2016 and has a paid up capital of RM1,000 comprising 1,000 ordinary shares. SWME is principally engaged in the business of trading and distribution of food related products. It is currently dormant.

Mr. Wong Tak Keong is director and shareholder of Power Root. He is also director and shareholder of SWME by virtue of his 10% direct interest in SWME. Save as disclosed, none of the Directors and/or major shareholders of Power Root and/or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Incorporation.
