PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF UP TO 10% OF THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ISSUED SHARES OF UNISEM (PLACEMENT SHARES) (PRIVATE PLACEMENT)

We refer to the announcements dated 17 November 2020, 23 November 2020, 24 November 2020 and 25 November 2020 in relation to the Private Placement.

 

On behalf of Unisem, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Company had on 20 January 2021 fixed the issue price of the Placement Shares under the second and final tranche of the Private Placement comprising of 21,075,500 Placement Shares at RM7.70 per Placement Share, representing a premium of about 7.0% to the 5-day volume weighted average market price of the ordinary shares in Unisem up to 19 January 2021, being the market day immediately prior to the price-fixing date, of RM7.1938 per share.
