- UPDATE ON THE STATUS OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING ("MOU") BETWEEN DRB-HICOM AND MALAYSIA AUTOMOTIVE, ROBOTICS AND IOT INSTITUTE ("MARII")

Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 7 January 2020, 7 April 2020, 7 July 2020, 7 October 2020, 7 January 2021, 7 April 2021, 7 July 2021 and 7 October 2021 in relation to the MOU between DRB-HICOM and MARii (“Announcements”).

 

Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein.

 

DRB-HICOM wishes to announce that the MOU had expired on 6 January 2022 and an extension will not be sought at this stage.

 

None of the Directors nor major shareholders of the Company or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect in the MOU.

 

The expiration of the MOU would not have any financial impact on the Company and its subsidiaries.
