GuocoLand (Malaysia) Berhad (“GLM”) writes to inform that Kiapeng Development Sdn Bhd (“KDSB”) and Corebright Management Sdn Bhd (formerly known as HLX Management Sdn Bhd) [“CMSB”], both wholly-owned subsidiaries of GLM, had been placed under member’s voluntary winding up pursuant to Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act 2016 on 18 January 2022.

Ms Wong Swee Tyng and Mr Lim Guan Chai of Messrs Ling Kam Hoong & Co., No. 6-1, Jalan 3/64A, Udarama Complex, Off Jalan Ipoh, 50350 Kuala Lumpur had been appointed as Liquidators of KDSB and CMSB.

KDSB and CMSB have both ceased operation and there are no future plans to activate these companies.

The voluntary winding up of KDSB and CMSB will not have any material impact on the net assets and earnings per share of GLM Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2022.
