The Board of Directors of Lien Hoe wishes to announce that the Company’s Managing Director, Dato’ Yap Sing Hock has passed away peacefully on 21 May 2022, at the age of 73.

Dato’ Yap was appointed as the Managing Director of the Company since 30 January 2002. He started his career as a building contractor before venturing into property development in the Klang Valley and Johor Bahru. He had also been active in real estate investment in Hong Kong and Singapore.

In the absence of Dato’ Yap, and with the succession planning in place, the management and operations of the Group would be led by Ms. Yap Tse Yeeng Christine, the Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, assisted by the Board and the management team. The business and operations of the Group will be run as usual.
