Dato' Seri Rosman Bin Mohamed has over 35 years of local and international experience, in devising and executing strategies revolving around organisational effectiveness, services enhancement, people management, mobilisation and team-motivation.
He was the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO")/Acting Managing Director/Board Member of Bank Rakyat, Malaysia ("Bank Rakyat") from April 2019 up to January 2021. During his tenure with Bank Rakyat, he was responsible for the overall operations of the bank, leading cultural transformation, managing stakeholders and ensuring succession of key roles to meet future demands of the industry.
Prior to joining Bank Rakyat as the CEO, he held the following positions:
(i) Managing Director (Centre of Excellence) of Abdul Latif Jameel, Saudi Arabia (Toyota Saudi) ("ALJ") (July 2015 - April 2018);
(ii) Managing Partner of LDS (M) Sdn Bhd and Top Performers Leadership Centre, Malaysia (January 2014 - June 2015);
(iii) Senior General Manager (Corporate Services) of Bank Rakyat (October 2012 - December 2013);
(iv) Managing Director (Kaizen Business Development and Human Resources, Jeddah Saudi Arabia) of ALJ (July 2008 - June 2012);
(v) Regional Business Development & Human Resources Director for Asia Pacific of Cabot Corporation, USA (December 2001 - June 2008);
(vi) Senior Manager (Change Management) of British American Tobacco Malaysia (January 1998 - November 2001);
(vii) Founder and Consultant of Growthworks (Asia) Sdn Bhd (February 1993 - December 1997);
(viii) Head of Training/Credit Manager of Malayan Banking Berhad (August 1988 - January 1993); and
(ix) Executive Accounting Officer of Road Transport Department of Malaysia (August 1982 - December 1983).
Dato Seri Rosman is currently a council member of the Ibrahim Johor Economic Council, Chairman of a few private limited companies in Malaysia, Professor of Practice of Putra Business School, University Putra Malaysia, as well as a consultant of Cisco (M) Sdn Bhd. |
