The Board of Directors of PeterLabs (Board) wishes to announce that the Company has on 28 October 2022 received a letter of resignation as auditor dated 27 October 2022 from Messrs. Grant Thornton Malaysia PLT (GT) (the Letter). GT's term of office shall end after 21 days from the Letter.
The resignation of GT is due to disagreement on audit fees and disbursements. Further, the Board also wishes to inform that the Company is not aware of any other matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of PeterLabs.
The Company has identified new auditors. However, their appointment can only be finalised upon receiving their consent letter to act as Auditors of the Company. A further announcement on the appointment of new auditors will be made by the Company in due course.
