The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise stated, bear the same meaning as those defined in the earlier announcements in relation to the Private Placement.

We refer to the earlier announcements dated 15 April 2022, 29 April 2022, 11 May 2022 and 26 October 2022 in relation to the Private Placement.

On behalf of the Board, UOBKH wishes to announce that the Board has decided to withdraw the application for extension of time to implement the Private Placement. The decision of the Board was made after taking into consideration the uncertainty of current market conditions.

In relation thereto, UOBKH has on even date submitted an application to Bursa Securities to withdraw the application for extension of time to implement the Private Placement. Accordingly, the timeframe to complete the implementation of the Private Placement will lapse on 10 November 2022.
