The Board of Directors of Industronics Berhad ("the Company") wishes to announce that the Company has received a notice in writing ("Notice") on 2 November 2022 from Messrs. Ong & Wong Chartered Accountant (AF0241) ("Auditors") on their resignation as the External Auditors of the Company.

The Auditors were re-appointed as the Auditors of the Company at the last Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company held on 29 June 2022 to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM of the Company. The Auditors have tendered their resignation due to the Audit Oversight Board has notified the Auditors that they are prohibited from auditing financial statements of Public Interest Entities for twelve (12) months commencing from 7 September 2022. 

The Company is in the midst of identifying the new auditors to be appointed pursuant to Section 271(2)(b) of the Companies Act 2016.

Save for the above, the Board wishes to inform that the Company is not aware of any other matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.
