The Board of Directors ("Board") of the Company refers to Bursa’s query dated 12.1.2023.

 

The terms of reference of the liquidator

The Board of the Company wishes to state that the Winding Up Order dated 10.1.2023 does not provide the terms of reference of the appointed liquidator. The Board is advised that the powers of the liquidator provided for under the Companies Act 2016 and under the law shall apply accordingly.

The effect of the appointment of liquidator on the business operations of SERBADK Group

The Board of the Company wishes to state that the power to manage the business operations of SERBADK group is vested with the Liquidator upon the appointment of the Liquidator. However, the Board wishes to further inform that the Board has instructed the solicitors to file an application to stay the Order appointing the Liquidator.

The Board will make further announcement as and when there are material developments on the above matter.
