Unless otherwise stated, all defined terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Prospectus issued by UMC dated 6 July 2022.

 

On behalf of the Board, Affin Hwang IB wishes to announce that UMC had on 31 January 2023 submitted the necessary confirmation, pursuant to Chapter 6 and in particular Rule 6.44(1) of the Listing Requirements, to Bursa Securities for the implementation of the SGS.

 

The effective date of the SGS is on 1 February 2023.
