Reference is made to the announcement made by the Company on October 20, 2022 in relation to submission to Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia ("SSM") of an application for strike off of Baka Suci Sdn. Bhd. [Registration No. 199501005488 (334684 -V)] (“BSSB” or “the Subsidiary”), a dormant subsidiary of the Company from the Register of SSM.

Farlim wishes to announce that BSSB has been struck off from the Register of SSM following publication in the Gazette by SSM pursuant to Section 551(3) of the Companies Act 2016 on February 10, 2023 which appears in the website of SSM on March 3, 2023.       

The striking-off of BSSB does not have any material effect on the earnings and net assets per share of the Company for the financial year ended December 31, 2022.
