We refer to our announcements dated 5 November 2021, 16 November 2021, 26 November 2021, 11 February 2022, 28 June 2022, 18 August 2022, 13 September 2022, 24 November 2022 and 3 January 2023 on the issuance of the notices of assessment for the years of assessment (“YAs”) 2011, 2012 and 2014 and the notices of additional assessment for the YAs 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 all dated 29 October 2021 against Kapar Energy Ventures Sdn. Bhd. (“Notices”) by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia ("IRBM").

Due to an ongoing out-of-court settlement with the IRBM, the High Court fixed a case management date on 13 April 2023 to update the court on the outcome of the out-of-court settlement with the IRBM.

Separately, the High Court has granted an extension of the interim stay on the enforcement of the Notices until 13 April 2023.
