Working experience and occupation 

Dr Hans is currently the Joint Acting Group Chief Executive Officer and Chief Executive Officer for Telecommunications Business and Group Executive Vice President of Axiata Group Berhad. He was appointed as Axiata's Corporate Executive Vice President & Regional Chief Executive Officer, South Asia Operations in January 2016. Up to the end of 2016, Dr Hans also functioned as the Group CEO of Dialog Axiata PLC (Dialog), Sri Lanka. He joined Dialogs founding management team in 1994 and took on the role of CEO in 1997. From 2012 till 2014, Dr Hans was also the founding CEO of Axiata Digital Services Sdn Bhd.
