Pursuant to Paragraph 9.19(15) of the Main Market Listing Requirements, the Board of Directors of MBC wishes to announce that the Company's existing Auditors, Messrs Ernst & Young PLT (“E&Y”) had on 28 April 2023 informed that they do not wish to seek re-appointment as Auditors of the Company at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.

The retirement is on voluntary basis and the Board is not aware of any matters that need to be brought to the attention of the shareholders.

The Company has commenced efforts to identify suitable audit firm and will seek to appoint new auditors in place of E&Y as soon as practicable. The Company will make further announcement in due course.
